Spanish for Homeschoolers

Hi! I'm Priscilla, and after more than 18 years of teaching Spanish and English as second languages, I am thrilled to offer Spanish 1, 2, and 3 to homeschool families.

As a product of homeschool myself, I have a deep appreciation for the flexibility, excellence, and personalized education that homeschooling makes possible. I love Spanish, and teaching it in a fun, engaging way that helps students build real world proficiency is my passion.

My classes are intentionally designed to build real world proficiency in s speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while satisfying requirements for high school credit.

Registration is now open! I would love the opportunity to partner with your family as your student embarks on their Spanish journey.

Warhawks Soccer

The Richmond Spirit Warhawks organization is a non-profit Christian organization that exists to glorify Jesus Christ through serving homeschool families in the Central Virginia community by providing physical exercise and competition in a multitude of athletic arenas. We believe that athletic competition allows a unique avenue through which participants, parents, and coaches can exemplify Christ-like character. In victory, we will personify Jesus’ ministry of mercy and compassion. In defeat, we are presented with the opportunity to demonstrate humility, patience, and self-control. Only that at all times, and in every circumstance, it is our desire to demonstrate the character of Jesus Christ and to promote His Gospel of Reconciliation to the Richmond community and state of Virginia at-large.

Fourth graders can get a free family pass to all National Parks for a year.

The Every Kid Outdoors program gives fourth graders and their families free access to over 2,000 federal parks, lands, and waters for an entire year. The pass is offered every year to fourth graders in the United States. No matter where you live in the U.S., you’re within two hours of an included site. Every Kid Outdoors was created so fourth graders and their families could discover our wildlife, resources, and history for free. The program chose fourth graders because research shows that kids ages nine to 11 are beginning to learn about the world around them. They’re open to new ideas, and they are likely to connect to nature and our history.
