Bean Sprouts Café has opened its doors in Richmond, bringing a family‑centered dining model to a space designed for museum‑day convenience. The concept is simple: give families a place where ordering, eating, and moving on with the day feels easy. Their menu is built for both kids and adults, with straightforward options that don’t sacrifice nutrition or taste.

Recently, my tween/teens and I visited the new café on our trip to the Science Museum.

Check out our reel documenting our experience below:

Price Ranges

Kids meals - $5-8

Adult entrees - $9-13

Sides - $2-5

Treats - $2-4

Drinks - $3-7

For a family of four, you can expect to pay between $35 - $55 total depending on drinks, treats and meal types.

Our Take

The staff were very kind and attentive. The setup is efficient, the ordering process is quick, and the food comes out fast enough to keep kids from losing steam. Portions are reasonable, ingredients are clean, and the presentation is kid‑friendly without being gimmicky.

I really appreciated the allergen‑friendly options. As someone living with diabetes, it can be hard to find meals I can enjoy without big blood sugar spikes, so this mattered to me. My selective eater also found something he liked, which almost never happens.

Overall, we had a great experience. The food was great, and it feels good to have a solid food option inside the museum again.
