The RISE-RVA STEM Catalyst Club is an exciting hands-on STEM experience designed for youth in grades 5–8! The club will run from June through October and will feature 10 interactive workshops.
Through a series of fun lab activities and workshops, participants will explore topics in biomedical sciences, chemistry, environmental biology, public health, and scientific research. Each workshop encourages curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving while introducing real-world STEM concepts and careers in medicine, research, and environmental science. By the end of the program, participants will gain a stronger understanding of scientific principles designed to inspire the next generation of innovators and scientists.

Location: Springfield Room at Deep Run Recreation Center
Dates: Twice a month, June–October
Time: Wednesdays from 6:30–7:30 p.m.
