Families in the East End will be excited to know that Girls in Gear is offering programming right at Chimborazo Elementary. This location brings the program directly into the heart of the community, making it easier than ever for girls to join in, learn new skills, and make new friends.

Girls in Gear Galentines Ride
Looking for a fun, family‑friendly way to celebrate friendship and movement this February? Girls in Gear is hosting a FREE Galentines Bike Ride on the Virginia Capital Trail — and it’s open to girls ages 8–13, plus their families and friends.

- Location: James A. Branch Center, 2825 Dock St, Richmond
- Distance: 4 miles
- Cost: Free for all participants
