This summer, families can enjoy free or low-cost movies several times a week at various locations like movie theaters, parks, drive-ins, and libraries. With so many options to choose from, it's the perfect time to plan some movie-watching fun! This page will be updated regularly so check often!
Ashland Theatre
The 2026 Movie Monday series will be FREE thanks to the generous support of Rappahannock Electric Cooperative! Anyone can register for tickets beginning at 5PM the evening before the showing. Anyone is welcome, but all must have a ticket!
Ticket registration opens at 5 p.m. the night before each showing on the Ashland Theatre website.

Movies in the Outfield @ CarMax Park
courtesy of the Flying Squirrels and Woodfin, Movies in the Outfield offers people the chance to catch a movie at the ballpark from May through October.

Seating for the movies will be on the field as well as the first-base lower bowl of the stadium, with the organizers asking people to only bring pillows and blankets, no lawn chairs.
