Kumon instructor Kala Ramesh opened her Kumon Center on June 6, 2005. Since then, she has been empowering students to achieve their goals.
Kala started her Kumon journey as a parent who had enrolled her children in Kumon and was inspired by their progress not just in academics but also in their level of confidence and improved work and study skills. This inspired her to embark on her journey to become a Kumon instructor.
With her in-depth knowledge of the Kumon curriculum combined with her perspective as a Kumon parent, she has helped many students unlock their true potential and achieve success.
Her center is located in the Cross Ridge shopping center of Staples Mill Road in Glen Allen, Virginia.
With the vision to help every child enrolled in the Kumon program to achieve success in school and empower them to become leaders of our society, Mrs. Ramesh has been working diligently towards that goal.
This year, Kala Ramesh will be celebrating 20 years as a strong Kumon instructor who is committed to help her community, whether being involved in the local PTAs or other organizations that positively impact students in her community.
Quoting one of her students’ parents, “Mrs. Kala has helped my son advance in school! She has also helped him develop into this strong and confident student. I cannot thank Mrs. Kala and the Kumon program enough”.
At Kumon of Glen Allen Cross Ridge, both in-person, virtual, and hybrid classes are offered with the medium being worksheet study or tablet study. The program is individualized to each students’ needs. Kumon of Glen Allen Cross Ridge has dedicated their services and structured their students’ learning at each and every level.
The Early Learner levels are structured to develop the foundations for strong math and reading skills. The Primary Learner stage focuses on building confidence in students to learn advanced concepts. These are the stepping stones for a student to become an independent learner, which is one of the important goals of Kumon study and many students at this center are advanced learners.
As Mrs. Ramesh celebrates her 20 years of successful Kumon instruction, her center will continue to nurture students to become advanced learners and leaders of our society.
