The Richmond Children’s Business Fair is celebrating a major milestone! The 10th Annual Richmond Children’s Business Fair will return on Sunday, March 7, 2027, from 1–4 PM at the Dewey Gottwald Center at the Science Museum of Virginia, bringing together K–12 youth entrepreneurs from across the Richmond region to showcase and sell products and services they created themselves.
For ten years, the Richmond Children’s Business Fair has provided young people with a hands-on opportunity to experience entrepreneurship. Participants develop a business idea, create a product or service, establish pricing, market their business, interact with customers, and make real-world sales.
The fair gives youth entrepreneurs an opportunity to build confidence, strengthen communication and financial literacy skills, practice leadership, and discover what it takes to turn an idea into a business.
The 10th anniversary celebration will highlight the creativity, innovation, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit of young people throughout the Richmond region. The event offers families, community members, business leaders, educators, and supporters of youth development an opportunity to shop with young entrepreneurs and encourage the next generation of business owners.
The Richmond Children’s Business Fair is part of the initiative of the Acton Children’s Business Fair, sponsored by the Acton School of Business and Acton Academy.

The deadline for youth entrepreneurs to register is February 1, 2027, or until all available spaces are filled. Families are encouraged to register early because space is limited.
